K-SOM (K means KNOWLEDGE) is a software developed to manage and visualize knowledge. K-SOM uses text-based files as an input and generates a visual picture as an output. K-SOM software may be used in analyzing different problems or issues without spending any time or money fot data preparation.

K-SOM is based on SOM (Self Organizing Maps) technology, which is part of artificial neural networks. The idea is to visualize high-dimensional data in a 2-dimensional picture. It is like X ray for knowledge systems.

K-SOM can be used in different areas:

• Personal knowledge mapping
• Mapping knowledge of employees
• Clustering clients
• Managing documents, articles etc.
• Analyzing complains, problems, feedback
• Monitoring projects
